Jim Foote carded a first-round 75 to take the lead after Day 1 of the Gainesville City Senior Championship on Friday at the Chattahoochee Golf Club. He leads Randy Bailey by three shots. Jeb Bates, Randy Dees and Robbie Bailey are knotted at third after an opening-round 79.
