Georgia Wolves top Metro-Atlanta Eagles 40-20 to secure National Development Football League title

The Georgia Wolves won the National Development Football League Championship 40-20 against the Metro-Atlanta Eagles on Saturday at Cabbell Field in Gainesville.

Casey Randolph and Deshawn Scott led the offensive attack for the Wolves. Randolph threw for two touchdowns, and Scott scored on the ground.

Sedrick Morgan scored on a touchdown reception and a touchdown run.

Deshawn Jones led on defense with an interception and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Damian Dowell also had an interception.

On the day, the defense had 12 sacks with five coming from Barry Spencer.

The Wolves will be in another championship game, pitting the NDFL champions against the Deep South Football League champions, at Cabbell Field on June 4. Kickoff time has yet to be announced.
