The Georgia Mountain YMCA Under-14 boys soccer team will be heading to Sacramento, California July 12-15 to represent Region III in the President’s Cup Nationals. The team, comprised of students from South Hall, North Hall, East Hall, Chestatee, and Gainesville schools, won the Georgia President’s Cup in May and went on to represent Georgia at the Region III President’s Cup tournament in Greensboro, N.C. In North Carolina, Georgia beat Arkansas 8-1 and Mississippi 4-1. The team then tied North Texas 1-1 and proceeded to beat North Carolina in the semifinals.
