The 8-and-under Clermont A’s finished a successful season on Monday in Barrow County with a 20-3 win over Dawson County for the Dizzy Dean baseball District 6 championship. With the win, the team ended the season with a 27-10 record. The A’s, comprised of students from Wauka Mountain, Mount Vernon, and Martin Elementary, finished in first place in both the Who’s on First and the Fastball 2012 tournaments in Monroe.
