The American Powerlifting Committee Weightlifting State Championship is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Iron Beast Gym at 675 Grove Street in Gainesville. Competition will be held in the various age and weight categories in full-power (squat, bench press and dead lift) and push/pull (bench and dead lift), as well as single lift competitions in the bench press and dead lift.
