The Young Harris women’s basketball team shot a season-best 58.6 percent from the floor to defeat Truett-McConnell 77-44 on Wednesday at the YHC Basketball Arena in Young Harris. The Mountain Lions (5-0) play Flagler College next to open the Peach Belt Conference schedule at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Augustine, Fla. Young Harris used a 14-4 run to open up a 27-16 lead on a Ladondra Johnson jumper with 6:09 remaining in the first half.
