Union County’s Zach Odom and White County’s Brett Westmoreland signed to continue their academic and baseball careers with Young Harris College beginning next fall, the college announced Thursday. Middle infielder Odom has batted .359 in his time at Union County with 10 home runs, 43 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He was named to the all-region first team twice and the second team once.
