University of North Georgia’s Jaymee Carnes has been named an NCAA Division II All-America Honorable Mention by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Carnes, a Gainesville graduate, averaged 17.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game this season while logging the second-most minutes on the team at 903, an average of 33.4 minutes per game. She led the team in scoring, rebounding, field goals made (193), field goals attempted (434) and blocked shots (55).
