The Piedmont College men’s soccer team fell 2-0 to Talladega College on Wednesday in Demorest. Augusto Maciel tallied an unassisted goal in the game’s 16th minute and Jose Luis Rodriguez added the insurance goal at the 61:22 mark, while teammate Esteban Pastrana recorded the shutout in goal turning away two Piedmont shots. Piedmont (4-6-1) travels to Maryville on Saturday in Maryville, Tenn.
