The North Georgia College & State University men’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season as they fell 83-80 to Anderson University (2-1) on Tuesday in Anderson, S.C.

Lamar Richardson led North Georgia’s attack with 23 points, going 7-for-11 from the field, including knocking down a game-high six three-pointers, while Ishmael Hollis continued his hot streak with 16 points and five rebounds.

The Saints play host to Belmont Abbey College at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Dahlonega.

YOUNG HARRIS WOMEN 71, SALEM 36: Ladondra Johnson led three Young Harris College players in double figures as the Mountain Lions defeated Salem International University on Tuesday in Salem, W. Va.

Johnson led the Mountain Lions with her second double-double in as many games with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Kaycee Cash added 12 points and Williams tallied 10. Ciera Simms led Salem International with nine points.
