The North Georgia College & University baseball team lost both ends of a double header to top-ranked Georgia College on Monday at Bob Stein Stadium in Dahlonega.

No. 10 North Georgia (11-6, 1-5 Peach Belt Conference) lost the first game 7-6 after taking an early lead. The Saints fell behind 6-4 in the seventh inning before coming back to tie the game at six going into ninth.

In Game 2, the Bobcats scored in six of nine innings and benefited from six North Georgia errors on their way to an 11-6 victory. North Georgia led 5-4 after a Brad Hall home run in the bottom of the third inning, but seven unanswered runs by Georgia College put the game out of reach.

The Saints will face West Georgia at 5 p.m. today at Cole Field in Carrollton.
