The University of North Georgia baseball team defeated Anderson University (S.C.) 3-1 on Wednesday in Dahlonega. North Georgia started the scoring off in the bottom of the second inning when freshman Devin Gearhart scored off a double to center field by freshman Jake McCurry. The Saints got another run in the bottom of the third inning when Derek Hooper scored North Georgia’s only earned run off an RBI single by Travis Naraine.
