High school football: Chestatee falls to Denmark 61-47

Christian Charles threw for 347 yards and connected with Seth Pressley four times in the end zone for Chestatee Friday night in a 61-47 loss to Denmark. Charles also recorded 168 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown. 

Pressley finished the night with 224 yards in receiving while teammate Caleb Carter totaled 120 receiving yards. 

Robbie James had six tackles for the War Eagle (1-4, 0-1 Region 7-4A) defense while teammate Ethan Corley racked up five tackles. Eddie Venegas had an interception for Chestatee, and Anthony Menjivar returned a fumble recovery 14 yards for a touchdown.

Chestate hosts Marist on Friday in Gainesville.
