Luther Beck and Shannon Kent (121) won the two-day, 36 hole 2008 Royal Lakes member-member championship Monday at Royal Lakes Golf Course in Flowery Branch. Beck and Kent defeated the winners of four other flights in a playoff hole on No. 10. After the teams of Bud Chandler/David Tewksbury (124) and Ed Boraski/David Siebrasse were eliminated, Beck and Kent defeated Danny Dingess and Greg Smith (122) on No. 11 by one putt to win the Championship.
