ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks have signed swingman Damien Wilkins for the rest of the season.
The Hawks announced the move Friday before facing the New York Knicks.
Wilkins is a seven-year veteran who originally signed with the team Dec. 3. He was waived Jan. 5 before signing 10-day contracts on Jan. 8 and Jan. 18.
The 31-year-old Wilkins is the son of former NBA player Gerald Wilkins and nephew of Hawks great Dominique Wilkins. Wilkins has averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 20 games with the Hawks.
