Atlanta Falcons cornerback Brent Grimes has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster the NFL announced Monday.
Grimes replaces Charles Woodson of the Green Bay Packers, whose team advanced to the Super Bowl. With the addition of Grimes, the Falcons have nine players on the roster, a league-high and franchise record.
In 2010, Grimes posted an NFC-best 23 passes defended with five interceptions after being targeted a league-high 119 times.
The Pro Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 30 in Hawaii.
