FLOWERY BRANCH — The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms with left guard Justin Blalock on a six-year contract Sunday.
Blalock has started all 64 games that he’s played since Atlanta drafted him in the second round of 2007 out of Texas.
With Blalock’s return, the Falcons have four of their five starting offensive linemen back for a fourth straight season under coach Mike Smith, coordinator Mike Mularkey and quarterback Matt Ryan. Right guard Harvey Dahl left as an unrestricted free agent and signed with St. Louis.
Right tackle Tyson Clabo, like Blalock, returned after becoming an unrestricted free agent. Center Todd McClure is back for his 13th season, and left tackle Sam Baker returns for his fourth.
