The NFL announced today that Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff has been named to the General Managers Advisory Committee.
Dimitroff was named the Falcons’ general manager in 2008 and has led the franchise to a dramatic turnaround. He was named NFL Executive of the Year by the Sporting News following both the 2008 and 2010 seasons for his skill in crafting a roster that helped make the Falcons a relevant and sustainable franchise. Under Dimitroff’s leadership, Atlanta has posted four consecutive winning seasons and entered the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time in franchise history.
