Spartans senior kicker Cesar Villa hit a 50-yard field goal with 43 seconds left in regulation to tie the score 27-27 and allow West Hall to snap their five game losing streak.
West Hall senior running back Darius Coleman-Blair struck first in overtime on a 15-yard touchdown run.
Fannin County answered with a touchdown of its own, but the Spartans were able to hold the Rebels to a field goal in the second overtime.
Sophomore quarterback Shirley capitialized on the opportunity, scoring to end the game.
Spartans senior running back Kwon Williams had a 64-yard touchdown run and a 63-yard halfback pass to senior Hykeem Bennett. Shirley had two rushing touchdowns.
West Hall (3-5, 1-3 Region 7-AAA) hosts Banks County 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
