Five West Hall players carried the ball for over 20 yards, and four different players scored rushing touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Fannin County on Friday in Blue Ridge. The Spartans (4-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) opened scoring on a 17-yard pass from quarterback Zach English to Tyquan Statham halfway through the first quarter. West Hall went on to score four more times in the first on a 9-yard pass from English to Daniel Walsh, a fumble recovery on a kickoff that Statham took two yards and in, a 49-yard run by Kwon Williams, and a 20-yard pass from English to Hunter Atkinson.
