Union County held on in the closing moments to earn a heart-stopping 35-34 win over Washington-Wilkes on Friday in Blairsville.
The Panthers blocked the extra point and Washington-Wilkes fumbled with time winding down in the fourth quarter to seal the Union County win.
Joseph Mancuso finished 17 of 28 for 312 yards and four touchdowns. Jacob Rogers caught two scoring passes, Chase Barnett added a score from Mancuso, and Sam Gilbert caught a scoring pass.
Chase Barnett also scored a rushing touchdown for Union County.
The Panthers finish the regular season 9-1 and 5-1 in Region 8-AA for the No. 2 seed in the region.
Union County plays host to Model on Friday in Blairsville.
