Stephens County overwhelmed Habersham Central 49-14 on Friday in a match between longtime Northeast Georgia rivals. The Raiders' 28 points so far this season are more than triple what they scored over their first two games against the same opponents last season, but they still couldn’t overcome Stephens County in Toccoa. Habersham Central continues to look for a win as they visit Collins Hill in a region game next Friday in Suwanee.
