Leopards' rushing attack bests Dawson, 25-11

Banks County rode 231 rushing yards to a 25-11 win over Dawson County on Friday in Dawsonville.

Dylan Lackey had 65 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and Jeremy Greenway had 123 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries for Banks County (5-1, 2-0 Region 8A-AA).

Quarterback Harrison Dale went 3-for-6 for a 71 yards and a touchdown passing while adding 45 yards rushing on five carries.

Fifty-five of Dale's 71 passing yards came on a touchdown pass to Eli Autry.

Banks County finished the game with 302 yards of total offense, only 12 more than Dawson County's 290.

Dawson County (1-5, 1-1 Region 8A-AA) led by quarterback Tyler Dominy, who had 217 yards passing with one touchdown.

The lone touchdown for the Tigers came with 1:41 remaining in the game.

Banks County plays host to Rabun County and Dawson County visits Union County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
