The Lions compiled 252 rushing yards as a team on Friday to defeat Fellowship Christian 29-0 in the teams' season opener in Roswell.

Junior linebacker Matt Askounis began the scoring for Lakeview with an interception return for a touchdown.

Sophomore Trevor Price had 123 yards rushing to lead the Lions, most of which came on a 75-yard touchdown run.

Senior Nick Drury ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns for Lakeview (1-0), which plays host to Kings Ridge at 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
