Jefferson rolls to 9-0, tops Oconee County 28-16

No. 4 Jefferson stayed unbeaten with a 28-16 victory over Oconee County on Friday in Jefferson.

Dalton Hill caught a pair of touchdown passes for the Dragons, and Sammy Williams ran in the other two.

Williams scored on the second play of the game on a 64-yard run, and Hill caught a 97-yard pass from Evan Shirreffs in the first quarter.

Williams scored again for Jefferson early in the second half on a 10-yard run, and Hill closed out scoring in the third with a 63-yard reception.

The Dragons (9-0, 5-0 Region 8-AA) face Hart County, also undefeated, for the region title on Friday in Hartwell.
