Habersham outlasts Loganville 47-45

Habersham Central held off Loganville 47-45 in a wild shootout Friday night in Loganville.

The Raider defense stopped Loganville after the Red Devils recovered an onside kick with 1:18 left in the fourth quarter to snap a two-game losing streak.

The final drive was one of few defensive stops on the night as the two teams combined for 1096 yards.

Habersham Central scored the first points of the game on a Kevin Ellison rush and held the lead for the rest of the game.

Kevin Ellison had 17 carries for 226 yards and touchdown runs from 77 and 17 yards out. He also was 2 for 4 through the air for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Sydnee Mulligan had three carries for three touchdowns and 60 yards, while Patrick Burns added 54 more yards on 15 carries for the Raiders.
