Chestatee is acting like nothing out of the ordinary happened to Monroe Area last Friday. In actuality, seven Purple Hurricane players were ejected from their 68-14 win over Madison County after an altercation between the two teams. Due to Georgia High School Association rules, players involved in the fight have been suspended for tonight’s game against Chestatee (7-1, 5-0 Region 8-AAAA), which will decide the Region 8-AAAA championship.
