Franklin rushes past Chestatee, 41-14

Chestatee fell to Franklin County 41-14 on Friday night at War Eagle Stadium.

The War Eagles had 310 total offensive yards (225 rushing, 85 passing) in the loss.

Pearce Gruenenfelder had a receiving touchdown on a pass from Scott Chewning and Jay Lyles added a rushing touchdown for Chestatee (2-5, 0-3 Region 8A-AAA).

With the loss, the War Eagles fall to last place in the subregion. Chestatee will play host to White County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
