Flowery Branch High remains No. 6 in Class AAAA in the latest Associated Press Football Poll, released Tuesday.

The Falcons (9-0, 9-0 Region 8-AAAA) defeated Salem 40-14 last Friday, and will take on Clarke Central for the region championship at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Falcon Field.

Meanwhile, Gainesville stayed at No. 6 in Class AAA after defeating West Hall 48-3 last Friday. Gainesville (8-1, 5-0 Region 8B-AAA) will play White County (8-1, 5-0 Region 8A-AAA) for the region championship at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Cleveland.

In Class AA, Buford remains at No. 2 after a bye week. The Wolves (8-1, 4-0 Region 6A-AA) will play host to No. 7 Westminster at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Tom Riden Stadium for the Region 6-AA championship.
