Elbert County raced to a 48-27 win over Jackson County on Friday in Elberton
Xavier Harper paced the Panthers with 57 yards and a score on three carries and 51 yards and a score on six receptions.
Jackson County quarterback Jacob Lewis added 263 yards and a score in his 21-of-34 passing performance. He scored a rushing touchdown along with 57 yards on 11 carries.
Malik Tuck added 58 yards and a score on eight carries for the Panthers (3-6, 3-3 Region 8-AAA), and Ben Brissey led the receiving corps with 111 yards on seven catches.
Evan Breakspear led the defense with 15 tackles.
Jackson County plays host to Morgan County on Friday in Madison.
