Dawson County whips Fannin County, 45-14

Dawson County improved its state playoff hopes with a 45-14 win over Fannin County on Friday in Dahlonega.

Dawson County is now 5-4 (3-3 Region 7-AAA) and plays host to West Hall (5-4, 3-3 Region 7-AAA) next Friday in Dawsonville in the game that will decide the No. 4 seed out of the region for the Class AAA state playoffs.
