Banks County rode senior running back Trevae Cain's five touchdowns to a 48-31 victory over Lumpkin County on Friday night at Leopard Stadium in Homer.
Cain had four scores rushing and one receiving. His night included a 48-yard touchdown run and a 66-yard touchdown catch.
Banks County senior receiver Zezmon Steeple added a 54-yard touchdown catch and a long touchdown run to the Leopards' offensive output.
Banks County led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter, and Lumpkin County was never able to get closer than 17 points the rest of the game.
Lumpkin sophomore quarterback Chandler Woodham had two rushing touchdowns, and junior running back Zach Matthews had a touchdown run and a touchdown catch.
Banks County (5-2, 2-1 7-AAA) visits Dawson County 7:30 p.m. next Friday, while Lumpkin County (2-6, 0-4) is off next week before visiting Dawson County on Oct. 30.
