Athens Christian defeated Banks County 27-21 on Friday night in Athens.

Rayshon Hunter took an Athens Christian fumble recovery 50 yards to the end zone in the Leopards' loss.

Tyler Hubbard completed 6 of 11 pases for 51 yards and rushed for 75 more yards on 13 carries with a touchdown for Banks County.

Leopards tailback Dean Ewing had a 4-yard touchdown run.

Banks County (2-2) is off this week before opening region play the following week at Union County.
