It just breaks me up. It is so hilarious. Who needs Comedy Central? I just read the first page of The Times.

On several occasions now the “solid waste” picker-uppers and their bosses have expressed astonishment at the fact that since they have cut the pickup days from twice weekly to once per week, the amount of garbage on that one day has now doubled.

Well, yes! Did any of these people study basic math? Just what did they expect? Who needs Abbott and Costello? And these people work for the city of Gainesville!

Those who are bent on dismantling one of the primary services provided by the city of Gainesville, will eventually discover another immutable force which prevails in city governance: “The Iceman Cometh.”
