Opinion: Writer’s carbon claims don’t line up with evidence

The claim (per Jimmy Echols, The Times, June 16-17) of a pre-industrial atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide as being 180 ppm is at odds with NASA’s approximately 280 ppm (ref. online NASA, “Global Climate Change, Vital Signs of the Planet”).
