The Georgia Department of Labor will host a recruitment Monday to help Wrigley Manufacturing Company hire a number of workers for its plant in Flowery Branch.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Gainesville Career Center located at 2756 Atlanta Highway.

The company, a manufacturer of confections, will be recruiting to fill about 80 positions for control technicians, maintenance technicians, processing operators, machine operators and supply workers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. Job seekers must have a high school diploma or GED.

It is recommended that applicants have a Silver level Georgia Work Ready Certificate before applying. Varying levels of experience are required for the openings.
