Gainesville Police officers are directing traffic around a wreck on E.E. Butler Parkway this morning.

A car traveling on E.E. Butler around 10 a.m. ran a red light and struck another vehicle coming from Spring Street, Officer Kevin Holbrook said.

Three vehicles were involved, including a taxi. Two passengers in the taxi were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with minor injuries, Holbrook said.

Officers are directing traffic down Broad Street from Jesse Jewell Parkway and down West Academy Street from Green Street.

E.E. Butler will reopen soon, Holbrook said.
