The longtime owner of a wine and cheese business in Gainesville is celebrating the grand opening of his new location all day today. “It’s a good location, and we’re glad to be here,” said Don Waara, who has been owner of Vine & Cheese for 23 years. The business moved last month literally across the street to its new store at 1290 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, in the small strip mall beside Publix.
