Two years ago, as she sat in a bed at Emory University Hospital recovering from a bone marrow transplant, Kelsey Bishop picked up her smartphone. Linking to a live video stream, she watched as more than 400 people gathered at a race in Gainesville to benefit her family financially and provide support in her battle with leukemia. “I had a hard time after my transplant and the chemo that accompanied it,” Bishop said.
