The Georgia State Patrol on Friday identified the victim of a Wednesday afternoon fatal wreck on Ga. 60/Candler Road as Paula J. Harper of Commerce.

According to the patrol, Harper, 50, was driving a north on Ga. 60 when the pickup truck she was driving crossed the center line and ran off the west shoulder, striking a tree with its front bumper.

The wreck took place near Candler Concrete Products, 2748 Candler Road, south of Roy Parks.

Harper died at the scene, patrol officials said.
