A pregnant woman was killed late Sunday night as she crossed Ga. 365 near Mud Creek Road, according to law enforcement officials. The unidentified white female was crossing the southbound lanes of Ga. 365 near a Kangaroo convenience store when she was struck by a car at 9:30 p.m., according to the Georgia State Patrol. The driver attempted to swerve to avoid hitting the woman, but struck her with the front of the car.
