Kids of all ages, and their family members, turned out for Saturday's ninth annual Touch-A-Truck event sponsored by Gainesville Parks and Recreation. More than 25 vehicles including big rig wreckers, garbage trucks, fire trucks, police cars and more filled the parking lot of City Park. Children were able to climb around the vehicles and try blowing the horns. Also included were smaller vehicles like riding lawn mowers and a Gainesville Police Department motorcycle. Other activities included inflatable jumping toys and an opportunity to get a temporary tattoo.
