No one was hurt Thursday when a tractor trailer fire on Interstate 985 southbound shut down the highway for a time.
The incident stopped traffic on the freeway near the Friendship Road exit in Buford.
Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said the blaze appears to have started accidentally in the tractor portion of the vehicle, and was caused by a small fuel leak.
He said a private crew was working to clean up the site.
Cagle said the tractor was a total loss, but the trailer and the load of bread it was carrying were unharmed.
