Traffic was shifted over Monday to allow continued construction on State Route 13 and H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway.

Lane closures are between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. through Friday on State Route 13, and on H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Friday, according to a press release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The lane closures will allow traffic to be placed on the newly built lanes Thursday, March 21, and continued construction to be completed for the Exit 14 interchange.

The next phase of work on the Interstate 985 road surface is set to begin next week as well, with grinding and smoothing of the concrete sections to be followed by the installation of new road reflectors.
