Despite a slight chill in the air, crowds in the Gainesville square stayed warm Friday night with hot treats and heady competition. The S’More to Life night on the Gainesville square was a kickoff to the Mission Source Tour of the Southern Highlands, a weekendlong stage race that is the evolution of the Gainesville Gran Prix. Friday’s events included a bar with s’mores and hot chocolate, sponsored by Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, and various vendors and activities all centered around professional-challenge street sprints through the streets of downtown Gainesville.
