The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County will host its annual thrift sale Saturday. The event is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brenau Downtown Center, formerly known as the Georgia Mountains Center, at 301 Main St. SW, Gainesville. Admission is $1 per person, and proceeds go to the organization’s community initiatives, which “support and promote the well-being of children and families,” according to a news release.
