Three adults were able to get out of an Oakwood home Friday that had a fire starting in the attic, according to authorities.
Hall County Fire Services responded to the 4100 block of Shawnee Drive, where a 2,000-square-foot home had flames in the attic.
“Smoke alarms alerted the three adult occupants, and they were able to exit unharmed,” Capt. Zachary Brackett wrote in an email.
Firefighters used ventilation and an offensive attack on the house to extinguish the fire.
The cause is undetermined, Brackett said.
