Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield is recommending that Brittany Bennett, who serves as principal at World Language Academy, be named to the same position at McEver Arts Academy.

According to a press release, the board of education will vote on the recommendation at its April 8 meeting.

If approved, Bennett would replace Matt Alexander, who was recently named director of elementary education for the 2019-2020 school year.

Bennett began her career in 2002 as a teacher at Lanier Elementary School. She moved to administration in August 2009 as an assistant principal at World Language Academy. She was named principal in 2015.

Meanwhile, Schofield is recommending that Beverly Moody take over at World Language Academy.
