The Gainesville Public Utilities Department is looking for customers owed refunds on their closed water accounts. The more than $22,000 in refunds dates to July 2009. “We have exhausted all efforts to get in touch with the customers on the list,” Tina Wetherford, finance and administration division manager, said in a statement.
