Owners of foreclosed property in Hall County must now register with the county Marshal’s Office and pay a $100 fee. The registry gives the county another tool to hold owners of vacant property responsible for code violations or safety issues. Foreclosures can look rundown, attract thieves and vandals, and lower surrounding property values.
